Heartland AEA Cultural Competence & Diversity Council's History
Heartland's Cultural Competence & Diversity Council was formed in 1992. The Council was originally called the Equity Committee, changing its name to Cultural Competence & Diversity Council in 2007. Cultural Competence & Diversity Council members promote inclusion and diversity within the agency, and track the recruitment, hiring and retention of females, minorities, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
