Iowa Evaluator Approval Training Program II:  Evaluation of Administrators

Do you primarily evaluate administrative staff?  If so, this course has been designed for you!
We want to ensure that we get the word out to all superintendents, central office staff, and to all those who evaluate administrators, about the Evaluator Renewal Course that centers around the Iowa Standards For School Leaders and increases their skills in coaching and evaluating building level administrators.  The two-hour course counts for two of the four credits required for renewal of an administrative license.  The law currently states that an administrator can complete either of two Level II Evaluator Renewal Courses:  Evaluation of Teachers OR Evaluation of Administrators.  Individuals, however, may choose to take both courses to complete their required four hours for licensure renewal.  Best practice would indicate that an individual should take the course most pertinent in his/her current job position.
