Team Leadership Consortium

In order to equip school and district leadership teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to effectively lead school improvement efforts, Heartland developed a two-year series of workshops called Team Leadership Consortium.  In the first year, 2006-07, school and district leadership teams attended five workshop sessions.  In year two, 2007-08, three follow-up workshops were held.

Effective School Team Leadership

With the advent of the Iowa Core Curriculum, the workshops were revised to fit into three days and to accommodate the needs of LEAs.  In addition, they were offered twice during the summer of 2009 in seven different locations throughout AEA 11.  These workshops are now available to individual schools/districts upon request.  If an LEA is interested in, they should contact their Partnership Director.
