JOHNSTON, Iowa — Longtime educator Tony Netusil of Ames has announced his retirement from the board of directors at Heartland Area Education Agency 11. Netusil has served on the nine-person Heartland AEA board since 1995. He is a former faculty member at Iowa State University’s College of Education.

Persons living in the Ames, Ballard, Collins-Maxwell, Colo-Nesco, Nevada or Roland-Story school district may run for election on the Heartland board. For more information, contact Dianna Baker, Heartland AEA executive board secretary, at 800-362-2720.
