PLANS OF YOUTH WITH SPECIAL
NEEDS
JOHNSTON, Iowa — A meeting to discuss the post-high school living, education and job choices of youth with individual education programs in grades 7-12 is Tuesday, Nov. 9, 7-8:30 p.m., at Heartland Area Education Agency in Johnston.
A panel of parents will discuss their children’s experiences going from high school to adult services. The meeting is open to all families of youth with special needs, the students themselves who are age 14 and over, and their teachers.
The meeting is at Heartland AEA’s 6445 Corporate Drive office in Johnston, across the street from the main Heartland AEA building.
