A fun day for families, students, and educators. Approximately 80 agencies will be available in the afternoon to provide information about their services, camps, leisure, and work activities.
New this year- Family/Educator Transition mini-conference on Living, Learning, and Working in the community will be at the resource fair in the morning from 9-12 for Jr/Sr High students, their families, and educators. Resource Fair Open house will be in the afternoon from 1-4 and is for all ages. Agency providers will be available to answer questions about services. A workshop on Managing Challenging Behaviors will also be provided. Registration for the afternoon is not required.
Transition Times
Gain information on planning for successful post-high school experiences in the areas of living, learning and working. For families, students, and educators of 7th-12th grade students on IEPs.
January 28, 2010 - Navigating the Transition Maze. Participants will review the Transition Resource Guide. This will be an ICN session originating from Iowa Public Television in Johnston with sites at Carroll and Ames High Schools.
