What Services Do We Offer?

Heartland AEA collaborates with local school districts to provide student services in areas that include, when appropriate, but are not limited to:

•    Assistive Technology

•    Audiology/Hearing Testing

•    Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

•    Occupational Therapy

•    Physical Therapy

•    Secondary Transition

•    School Psychology

•    School Social Work

•    Special Education Consultants

•    Speech Language Therapy

•    Shelter Care Educational Programs

•    Vision: Although Heartland AEA does not provide vision services, several students have these specific needs and Heartland partners with the Iowa Braille School to provide evaluations and services for students with vision needs.
