Tab Manager

Under the Manage tab, there is a setting called Tab Manager that you will use occasionally. Clicking on that setting will bring you to this screen:

On the left side is a listing of all the tabs. If you click and hold on any of the tabs, you can drag it to rearrange the order of the tabs(a hand will appear). Just clicking on a tab on the left once will bring up its information into the right side of the screen.

Once the tab's info is pulled up, you can do many things. At the top, you can rename the tab to make it more descriptive if you would like. You can also check the "Make this a sub-tab" checkbox, which will indent the tab over on the left. What that means is when you go to your navigation bar in the Ning, it will actually be a drop-down menu that appears when you hover over the top menu (you can still rearrange it under a different top menu in the tab manager).

You can also change the respective colors of those sub-tabs down below on the right.

An often forgot-about setting is that you can make the tab visible to only certain groups of people (like administrators).
