The Physics Olympics is a series of physics related competitions for high school students, grades 9-12. The competition stresses creativity and ingenuity as well as an understanding of physics related principles and is intended to stimulate interest in the Physical Sciences. The rules are designed as parameters for the competition and should be regarded in the true spirit of "sciencing."
Each event is scored separately with a winner and runner-up being declared. The team score will be the sum of the event scores with the highest scoring team being declared the Physics Olympics Grand Champion.
