Heartland's Science Curriculum Consultants at a glance..

Craig Edmondson: Craig has served as an environmental educator / park ranger at various county, state, and federal nature areas. He started his educational career 17 years ago, teaching in the areas of Biology and Earth Science. Craig also has administrative experience, serving as a secondary principal. He comes to Heartland from the Marshalltown office of AEA 267, where he held the position of science consultant.

Peg Christensen: Peg joins Heartland after serving as a Science Consultant at AEA 1 for 11.5 years. Prior to that, she taught high school science at Mid-Prairie (Wellman, Iowa) for 12.5 years. Her areas of interest include Science Inquiry, Forensic Science, Gifted Education and Differentiated Instruction. Peg comes to Heartland with over 20 years of teaching experience.

Rob Kleinow: Rob Kleinow joins Heartland AEA as a Science consultant from Fairfield Iowa. Rob has over 20 years of experience in Science Education, teaching at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. Rob has a Masters degree in Educational Technology. Rob’s special areas of interest include Science Inquiry and Educational Technolgy.
