National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) is an organization of parents, educators, other professionals and community leaders to address the unique needs of children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents as well as those children who may be able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences.

The Connie Belin and Jacqueline N. Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development at the University of Iowa focuses on gifted education and talent development. Access information about the professional development opportunities for teachers, the BESTS Talent Search for students, and Belin-Blank Assessment Clinic.

Office of Precollegiate Programs for the Talented and Gifted at Iowa State University  offers Talent Search opportunities in cooperation with the Belin-Blank Center at the University of Iowa and provides both summer and academic year enrichment and learning opportunities. The goal is to match students with appropriate learning experiences.

Hoagies Gifted Education Page is a resource guide for the education of gifted children with links to resources on nearly every aspect of gifted education available on the Internet. Also included are annotations and first hand information provided by parents.

Davidson Institute for Talent Develpment  provides policy and advocacy information with links to support the needs of gifted children, their parents, and educators. The Institute is devoted to serving profoundly gifted children. The site includes a link to Genius Denied.

SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted) provides information and resources focused on the emotional needs of gifted children. Discover annual conference details and find out how to register. Download your copy of the brochure "Is My Child Gifted," a collaboration between SENG and the National Association for Gifted Children.

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted.

New South Wales Association for Gifted and Talented Children This link provides professional development modules in six areas of gifted education addressing all grade spans. Even though certain specifics apply to Australia, there is useful general information which any teacher and gifted education advocate will find useful.

Even for those new to Web 2.0, this site is user friendly and a great opportunity to engage in discourse with like-(and sometimes not-so-like-)minded individuals. The common denominator is a passion for all things gifted.
